This experimental documentary explores the embodiment of mourning, the evocation of place, and the ineffability of loss. The film follows Annie as she remembers her mother Jane’s life and her battle with multiple sclerosis. Annie’s voice and her movement through the English countryside anchor the film. As she recalls her mother, the environment becomes imbued with a sense of the past, the intimacy of connection, and the energy of the present.
