Between Places (2013)

“Between Places” consists of collaborative work between Jena Seiler and Cayla Skillin-Brauchle, who are  often separated by states, countries, or continents. For Seiler and Skillin-Brauchle the distance between the two artist becomes a productive part of the work. Informed by the physical locations in which the artists find themselves and their relation to each other, the work highlights transitory spaces while reflecting upon immediate locales.  Employing strategies of observation, patience, and intervention, the artists aim to create connections across riverbeds and disparate places.
