This project was completed in collaboration with Patrick Litanga and explores personal memory through a transnational lens. Aligning two sets of memories, represented by Polaroid photographs, the images suggests overlaps and contingencies. This archiving allows links emerge across borders and a linear narrative. Memory and history often act as a means of cementing certain identities and histories, the Polaroids suggest a possible undoing of the normative telling of these events.
