This short experimental film explores the abundance and invisibility of plastic in the environment, specifically as it relates to bodies of water. Through the layering of images, recognizable and peculiar sounds, and text, the film unsettles familiar scenes and opens a space to reflect upon our ability to grasp the material presence—and the violent consequences—of plastic in the world and the devastation of pollution more broadly.
