This experimental documentary explores the embodiment of mourning, the evocation of place, and the ineffability of loss following the death of Jane, Annie’s mother who lost her battle with multiple sclerosis at the age 49. Annie’s reading at Jane’s memorial becomes the frame and the force that propels the rest of the film. Moving along the English countryside, Annie recalls her mother’s body, attitude, and outlook on life.
